SET offers a range of FREE services for local employers. We are able to provide employers with information and resources.

Job Posting Service:
Employers who are interested in posting employment vacancies with the SET resource centre can do so by FAX, email or in person.

• Your job advertisement will be displayed on our centre's job board, and/or on our website on-line job postings, which is reviewed by job seekers daily.
• Potential candidates can see your posting and respond directly to you.

Interview Room:
We can provide a suitable room/space for employer use to conduct job interviews or information sesions.

Hiring Fairs:

Seeking Exhibitors
Tuesday, September 30, 2008    1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Supporting Employment Transitions is continuing with its highly successful Hiring Fairs and welcomes the opportunity to have your business
showcased at our next Hiring Fair.

SET Hiring Fairs are open to the general public and all ages are welcome to attend these events.  We have consistently had over 20 employers and over 300 attendees with very positive feedback from all participants. In preparation for the Hiring Fair, SET coordinates an extensive marketing campaign, sends out press releases to local media and event listings, advance email notification to community agencies and circulates posters within the community.  Additionally, advance notification is sent to jobseekers registered on our email subscriber list.

Are you having difficulty recruiting and maintaining employees?
Our Job Coach can help with the connection between employee and employer

The SET Job Coaching service will provide transitional support to motivated job seekers, who face challenges, into employment opportunities.

What our Job Coach can do for you:

• Provide direct referral of individuals to employment opportunities within the workplace
• Participate in the interview process and meetings between the employer and the potential employee
• Support the new employee with work place orientation to assist the employee in achieving a positive work experience and long-term employment
• Provide on-going support as the new employee adapts to your workplace
