HIRING FAIR

SET HIRING FAIR

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008
1pm - 4pm

101-155 Skinner St. Nanaimo

September will be a busy month for Hiring Fairs. Other community agencies will also be hosting Hiring Fairs in the month of September. See details below.

Now is the time to perfect your resume and uncover the type of work you really want. As always, SET offers a wide variety of workshops to help you succeed in doing just that.

Hiring Fair – preparation
Get ready to make the most of the Hiring Fair by taking our workshops designed to specifically explain the Hiring Fair experience.

Hiring Fair Crash Course discusses everything you need to know about Hiring Fairs.  The Hiring Fair set-up, resume writing, interview tips, and suggested guidelines around presentation are examined.

Acing the Interview is an interview workshop that has been adapted from our Power Interviews workshop to specifically target the Hiring Fair environment.  Special care is given to prepare participants for the “3-second interview” to help them make the best first impression possible.
