Using a Fax Cover Sheet

The first impression is a lasting impression

A fax cover sheet:

  • Acts as a cover for your personal information
  • Clarifies who the fax is addressed to (e.g. name, company, department, etc)
  • Tracks the number of pages being sent so the receiver knows that they have the whole document
  • Shows professionalism
  • Shows adherence to procedures
  • Demonstrates knowledge of business procedure and protocol
  • Helps to keep track of your job search by verifiying date and time the fax is sent
